Answering the questions in this interactive support form could help you solve some hardware problems with installation or playing UFO: Aftershock.

Myrmecol Repair Kit

(spoilers!)

There are no missions activated in the game after arriving onto the Myrmecol? It is incorrectly generated and your save need to be repaired. Download and use the Myrmecol Repair Kit (it is a perl script so you need to be a Perl user).

Patches

The unofficial patch. This patch *does not* include the changes from the previous patches. Please ensure that your game is patched to version 1.2 or 1.2.1 before applying this upgrade.
UFO: Aftershock patch 1.2.1 will allow you to play the game on Windows 7. Please note that version 1.2 of the game is needed for this application to install, otherwise the game will not work.
UFO: Aftershock complete patch 1.2 for newly installed game in Czech, English, French, German and Polish languages [22 MB]. You should be able to use current saves with this patch.
UFO: Aftershock upgrade patch 1.1 to 1.2 for Czech, English, French, German and Polish language versions [22 MB]. You should be able to use current saves with this patch.
